Day 11 – 14TH JUNE 2016

I spent the entire day strategizing on how to navigate and penetrate every nook and cranny of Tanzania especially areas populated by wildlife.

Manasseh reminded me of the strategies to magnate and sustain the campaign to the masses in foreign land. We had to strike a delicate balance by ensuring we get solid and lasting rapport with the locals as well as winning the support of the local authorities.

I had to quickly learn the essential selling conservation language appealing to the Tanzanians. I had to swiftly familiarize myself with the policy issues, consistent with the elephant conservation agenda and beseech the pubic to inculcate individual responsibility to save the iconic elephants in the region.

The entire day was spent ruminating on how to entrench the conservation agenda at the initial 26 kilometres from Namanga to Longido.
