DAY 3- 6TH June 2016

I was happy to see my cousin who travelled from Nairobi to support me. We did the 31 km stretch from Kitengela to Isinya and by the end of it I suffered my first puncture, a painful blister. Thank heavens, Ranger Wandera is man of means and skills and he managed to sort it out and give me relief. I thought I had gotten over blisters after all these years of walking but our bodies are constantly readjusting. Blisters are sign of toughening up and sometimes it has to hurt first before we feel better. One has to treat every day as it comes, with all the challenges that they bring upon us.
