Calling for Volunteers

Elephant Neighbors’ Center (ENC) is a Non- profit Organization that was founded with a vision of reinstating the broken while maintaining humans and wildlife coexistence the changing and dynamic society of today.
ENC goals and objective emphasis on a three-tier approach that integrate Community knowledge, Environment and Livelihoods elements to resolve key problems and biases facing conservation in Kenya. Since 2013 we have been implementing conservation and education program through a grass-root and awareness campaign walk dubbed “ Ivory belongs to elephants”, we have covered an extensive ground both in Kenya, East Africa and in USA totaling to over 9000km walking, engaging different authorities creating awareness on the need to participate in wildlife conservation.

We are looking for a team of volunteers who are dedicated, energetic, honest and passionate in wildlife & Environmental conservation. One particular person we are looking for is a technician / DJ, during the walks we usually have a public address and some one keep on talking to reach out to people and highlight on what is happening, he/she will also give elephant statistics, facts and create humor on why we need to protect elephants among others. He /she will be in charge of all equipment’s that includes Generator, Public address and all lightings in the camp. The second bunch of 2 or 3 people will be involved in communication; one must show high and create communication skills in both wildlife and environment. This a position that requires some one who doesn’t require supervisors and can manage communication crises at all levels. He/ She will be involved updating our social media/website on daily basis. The team will also help in advance preparation and with help of National Museums of Kenya exbits on the walks activities ahead of the walk in major town.
